Kenneth “Ken” Hayden, 73, passed away on September 6, 2018. Born in Detroit, Michigan in 1945, Ken was a longtime resident of Utica/Shelby Twp., MI. Ken had worked for Chrysler Corporation for 40 years before retiring and had a passion for cars (Packard’s in particular). Ken threw himself into volunteerism after he retired by becoming one of the key members dedicated of restoring The Packard Proving Grounds located in Shelby Twp. Ken also enjoyed fishing and you could always catch him doing a good crossword puzzle sitting in his chair watching TV.

Ken is survived by his wife Paula (nee Militello), brother Art (Janice Hayden) and children, Brenda (Kenneth DeMiglio), Glenn (Kim Hayden), Lisa (David Arnoff), Steve McClary and grandchildren, Joseph, Paulina, Zayne, Paige and Nathan. Ken is preceded in death by his mother Cecilia Hayden; father Jay Hayden. A private service will be held St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church September 10, 2018 5655 Stadium Pkwy Melbourne, FL 32940 Viewing at 9:30am followed by mass at 10:30am. A luncheon is to follow at the church after mass.
