Marianne Frances McKegg, a lifelong volunteer and advocate of people with disabilities and special needs died on Friday under the excellent care of St Francis Hospice. Marianne was 58.
Marianne was born in Brooklyn, New York to William C. McKegg Sr., a business executive and Dorothy F. McKegg a homemaker and activist for people with disabilities. Marianne graduated from Shallow Junior High and held long tenured positions at Victory Memorial Hospital, The Guild for Exceptional Children, Special Spotlight Theater, Easters Seals of Brevard and The Brevard Achievement Center. Marianne will be greatly missed by family and friends and is survived by her brother Cam, sister in law Meg and nephews Phil and Willie all of Melbourne Beach.
