Hal G Phifer, Jr. passed away, his loving family by his side, August 25, 2017. He was born January 21, 1943, the son of Hal & Dorothy Phifer. Hal was born in Newport News, Va, but raised in Concord, NC. He later moved to Florida where he met his wife Trish, the love of his life, and they were married 52 years. Hal retired from Florida Power & Light in 2005 with 40 years of service. Besides his wife, he is survived by daughters Riki/Harry Neeves, Tami/Shane Meeks, son Barry Dean Phifer, granddaughters McKenzi Schroeter, Chelsea/Mike Proctor, Sydney Schroeter, Amber Neeves, great grandson Gavin and great granddaughter Paisley Proctor, sister Vicki/Bob Gibson, brother Greg/Maureen Phifer, brother Tony/Tracie Phifer and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Hal was a fan of Mopar and was known for years as the guy with the 1970 bronze Dodge 440 Coronet. In liew of flowers, please consider a donation to Hal's favorite charity St Jude Children's Hospital. A memorial service will be at Christian Development Center, 343 Nail Street NE Palm Bay 32907, Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 3:00.
