Gail Ann Lindeman, 63, passed away on March 21,2023, in Palm Bay, Florida.

Gail was born on August 12, 1959 in Youngstown, Ohio, where she married Thomas W. Lindeman in 1976 and the two moved to Palm Bay, Florida in 1980.

Gail began a career with the Brevard County Public Schools in 1989 where she spent 32 years at Christa McAuliffe Elementary School, retiring in 2022.

Gail was known to have a tremendous heart and her dedication and hard work ethic was recognized in 2007 when she was awarded the “Hometown Hero Award”.

Some of Gail’s hobbies included fishing, going to the beach, arts and crafts and spending time with her family.

Gail is survived by her husband of 46 years, Thomas W. Lindeman, sons, John-Paul Lindeman (Jennifer), Thomas W. Lindeman, Jr. (Hallie), Jesse L. Lindeman (Christa), and 9 grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Lorraine Powers, her father, James Berry, and brothers, Mitch Steinspring, Jim Berry and Anthony Berry.

The family would like to express a special Thank you to Tom and Gail’s niece, Ellie Metz, for the dedicated round-the-clock care for Gail in these past few months.

A viewing will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Brownlie Maxwell Funeral Home, 1010 E. Palmetto Ave, Melbourne, Florida with a procession along St Rd. A1A for a 1:00 p.m. funeral service at Florida Memorial Gardens, 5950 US-1 S, Rockledge, Florida.
