Dorothy Bird Cariou, 99, of Melbourne Beach, FL passed away peacefully on October 30th. She was born on September 23, 1926 in Rome, NY to the late William and Dorothy Bird. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Cariou. She was also predeceased by her sisters, Eleanor Coffey, Mary Jane Volpi and Gloria Olney; and her brothers, Jack, William and Richard Bird. She is survived by her brother, Robert Bird, her sisters-in- law Anne-Marie Bird and Sue Bird, as well as several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations would be welcomed at the Brevard Humane Society. A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 17th at 11:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church in Melbourne Beach, Florida. Burial will be in Crown Hill Memorial Park in Clinton, NY at a later date.
