Armando E. Cortez of Palm Bay, Florida passed away at the age of 89 after an illness.
He was born December 15, 1936 in Eagle Pass, Texas. His parents were Liberata Esquivel and Esteban Cortez.
He is preceded by his wife, Jo, his brother, Jose and his parents.
Armando enrolled in the United States Army and was a proud serviceman in the 82nd Airborne Division as a parachutist. He received an honorable discharge in 1959.
After the military, Armando was a special needs teacher in Texas and Florida.
Ther will be no visitation. He will be laid to rest at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery at a later date.
