Lavergne “Coddy” Williams, born May 29, 1948, to LaVergne E. and Eleanor (Dahl) Williams, passed away peacefully at his home in Melbourne Beach on December 16, 2025.
A longtime resident of Floridiana Beach, Coddy found joy in simple, meaningful things. He spent many years as a commercial fisherman and remained deeply connected to the outdoors. He took great pride in caring for is yard, tending to his beloved fish pond, and could often be found cooking for family and friends. An exceptional cook, he showed his love through food and hospitality more than words.
Coddy is survived by his wife, Beth Glover; daughter, Tami Boggs (Keith); daughter in law, Lydia Williams; granddaughters, Savannah and Jenna; and sister, Candy Butler (Jack).
He was preceded in death by his son, Coby.
In keeping with his wishes, no formal services were held. A private family gathering took place to honor his life.
