Coddy and I go back to elementary school and were beachside boys growing up. We had VW's as teens and often talked shop about our Bugs. Both surfers and board builders, we were regulars at the beach. I always admired Coddy's brilliant mind and his amazing ability to make just about anything he wanted to make! His pond is fascinating as are the big tarpon that were his babies. Many of he and Beths plants reside in my yard especially several varieties of crotons! He will surely be missed. .

Coddy was a self-reliant man with hands that could turn ideas into reality. His wealth of knowledge was matched by his generosity, especially in the kitchen, where he loved cooking for family and friends. A professional fisherman at heart, he understood the seas and nature and even built a boat, a true reflection of his skill, independence and determination. It was a joy to experience a walk through his lush tropical yard and fish pond that he, with the help of Beth, created over many years.

Coddy possessed great wisdom and acquired a wealth of experience on matters of fish, foliage, and friends. I so enjoyed each conversation I had with him. His stories were endless. We will miss you dearly.
