Gina Amoroso, of West Melbourne, FL, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025.
Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on January 2, 1967, to Alfred and Judy Amoroso, Gina exhibited a warmth and resilience from a young age that defined her throughout her life. She graduated from Baldwin High School in 1985 and earned her B.A. from Duquesne University in 1990.
Her professional journey began at Respironics, Inc., where she quickly became known for her dedication, ability to connect with others, and genuine kindness. In 1997, she followed her family to Florida, settling in West Palm Beach and continuing her career with Omnii Oral Pharmaceuticals. Whether in the workplace or among friends, Gina had an innate way of making people feel valued, and she was deeply respected by colleagues and loved ones alike.
Facing every challenge with a smile, Gina approached life with a quiet but fierce determination to beat the odds. She found humor in everyday moments and loved making others laugh. Family, cooking, sharing recipes, and catching up with friends—both old and new—brought her the greatest joy. A devoted animal lover, she cherished the companionship and unconditional love of pets. Above all, she was a great sister but an even better aunt to her only niece, Ava, whom she adored.
Gina is survived by her stepfather, Jerry de la Rosa; her sisters, Lara Amoroso and Adria Amoroso; her beloved niece, Ava Amoroso; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, stepsisters, and stepbrothers. She is preceded in death by her mother and father.
A funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 11, at Holy Name of Jesus in Indialantic, FL, with visitation beginning at 10:30 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Helping Animals Live and Overcome (H.A.L.O) No Kill Rescue, in Sebastian, Florida.
