Mary Louise Amera was born to Esther Elisabeth and Walter Emery Amera on September 13, 1940, in the town of Scott Wisconsin. She joined her siblings Dorothy, Phyillis, Charles (Chuck) and Eunies (Eunie). The family soon moved to Madison Wisconsin where she attended Lapham Elementary and Central High School where she met her soon to be husband Guido Cecchini. Together they brought 4 children into the world. Sara Colleen, Jeffery Dino, William Guido and Juliana Elisabeth. Tragedy struck at an early age with the loss of Jeffry. She moved to Eau Claire Wisconsin in 1969 and attended the University of Wisconsin where she earned her bachelor’s degree, met and married Julius Karl Schmaltz on February 14, 1976, adding Gary Thomas and Jody Lynne to their blended family. Soon to follow came the joys of her life, her grandchildren. Steven, Anna, Amy, Michelle, Amber and Mia. Many great grandchildren were to follow. Wesley, Alex, Ryan, Etta, Macie, Ecco, Maci, Finn and Jonas. Mary’s love extended to many over the years as there was room in her heart for all. Tragedy was to strike her life again with the loss of Bill and Julie. Her faith in God was tested but she remained a devout Catholic and Christian all her days. Living her devotion to God in her many charitable endeavors with the love of her life Jule. On February 14 of this year, they were to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. She will be greatly missed by many but the love she gave to all will remain in our hearts forever. Wife, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Friend and Beloved Mother. Her light will shine always in our hearts.

Dear Jule, Sorry to see of Mary's passing. We all had such a good time in those days gone by. Memories really came flooding back, from times at the In-Between, Oh those Presto girls!.
