Ruth Mazalewski
May 7, 1939 – June 17, 2025

Ruth Mazalewski, 86, of Indian Harbour Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2025. Born on May 7, 1939 in Brooklyn, New York, Ruth lived a full and loving life centered around her family, her faith, and her deep care for others.

Ruth was preceded in death by her beloved husband Phil Mazalewski in 2013 and by her daughter Tracey, in 1990.

She is survived by her loving children: James (and his wife Michelle), Thomas, and Stephanie (and her husband John). Ruth was a proud grandmother to eight grandchildren and a cherished great-grandmother to thirteen. She is also survived by her dear cousin Barbara Sansone, with whom she shared a lifelong bond.

Known for her warmth and her gift of conversation, Ruth always had something to say — and people loved listening. She was easy to talk to, made others feel seen and valued, and built meaningful connections wherever she went. Her compassion, strength, and kindness touched everyone who knew her.

Ruth’s greatest joy was her family. Sunday dinners, heartfelt conversations, and time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were among her most treasured moments. Her presence was the heart of the home, and her love will continue to live on in the lives of those she touched.

A visitation will be held at 10:30 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 3050 N. Highway A1A, Indialantic, Florida 32903.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Ruth’s memory to a charity close to your heart.
