Born on September 25,1940, she passed away peacefully at the William Childs Hospice House on Monday, September 22, 2025.

Frances, the youngest of three beautiful daughters was born in Savannah, Georgia to Carl and Mattie Salter, lived her childhood years in Savannah and Charleston, South Carolina. In her teenage years, Frances and her parents found their way to Orlando, Florida where she met the love of her life, Robert (Bob) Arnold. Frances and Bob have shared 67 blessed years of marriage.

Together they raised three wonderful children, Carol (Jeff) Cope, Scott (Cindy) Arnold and Kris (late-Kenny) Clark. She has five grandchildren, Chad (Angela) Hylland, Audra (Mike) Younts, Adrienne (Daniel) Corbett, Wesley (Jenny) Arnold, and Mitchell Platt as well as 11 great grandchildren, Bryce Younts, Ava Younts, Cameron Hylland, Alyssa Arnold, Abagail Hylland, Haley Arnold, Rylon Younts, Ashlee Hylland, Rian Corbett, Maevelyn Corbett, and Leo Platt. She has one great-great grandson, Cain Younts.

Frances was a life- long Christian whereby she shared her love of Christ with her children, grandchildren and many young children that attended her Sunday school classes.

Above all, she took immense pride in devoting her life to being a full-time homemaker, and a nurturing mother and grandmother. She loved to read, sew and enjoyed traveling to the Georgia mountains.

Frances is preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Mattie Salter and her sisters Carolyn Burnam and Shirley Finn.

A private service will be held in Frances’ honor for close friends and family.
