Charles H. Haynes, 88, of Palm Bay, FL passed away on Monday April 26, 2021. He was a native of Avondale, NC. After high school he joined the Navy for a short time and then attended North Carolina State. He moved to Brevard County in 1979 from Monroe, NC to work as a Designer with Harris Controls Division where he retired. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Melbourne, the Monroe, NC Masonic Lodge and the AZAN Shrine Temple of Melbourne.
Survivors include his wife, Vonnie, a daughter, Robbi (Kevin) Moore of Cedar Park, TX, his son, Chuck Haynes of Palm Bay, 2 grandchildren Christina Soulen (Steven) and Keith Cusson, 2 great-grandchildren Cameron and Charles, and a brother Jim (Juanita) of California.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
Anyone planning an expression of sympathy is asked to consider the Shrine Children’s Hospital.
