He is survived by his devoted wife Ava Miller, and his sister Pat Hammock. Charles leaves a lasting legacy through his six children Jessica R. Powers, Chaz C. Miller, Anthony Miller, Charles Shane Miller, Sherry Spivey, and April Biko. Additionally, he is remembered by his three cherished grandchildren Shane Miller, Shayna Miller, and Cody Taylor.
Charles was known for his big heart and garnered affection from many. As the proud owner of Miller’s Auto Repair, he dedicated numerous years to servicing vehicles, retiring in 2022. His customers held him in high regard, appreciating his unwavering commitment to exceeding their expectations.
Beyond his professional life, Charles had a passion for history, loved to explore new destinations, and was often the first one up in the morning ready to start the day. His love for the ocean was evident in his enthusiasm for deep-sea fishing and beach-combing with his metal detector.
