Clemencia Cordova, 89, passed away on October 21, 2024 in Melbourne, Florida. She was the widow of Luis Cordova; they shared 60 years of marriage.

She was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador on December 6, 1934. She moved to Brooklyn, New York with her husband and daughter, Jenny Gonzales. While in New York, she worked as a seamstress for several clothing manufacturing companies.

Clemencia’s passion was listening to music and dancing. She lit up the room with her laughter and joy.

She is survived by her daughter Jenny Gonzales; son-in-law Eduardo Gonzales, Sr.; granddaughter Carola Gonzales; grandson Eduardo Gonzales, Jr.; grandson Jose Gonzales; great granddaughter Amabel Tartaro; great grandson Alexander Tartaro and great grandson Jose Gonzales, Jr.

Her memorial service is planned on November 2, 2024 at 11 am at Brownlie-Maxwell Funeral Home, 1010 E. Palmetto Avenue, Melbourne, Florida 32901. Please consider wearing bright colors in honor of her uplifting spirit and life.
