Donald Scott Preston passed away on September 17, 2020, at the age of 80. He was born in Hagerman, Idaho, to Scott Edison Preston and Mary Louise Indermuhl. He was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his wife Patricia, brother Mike Preston, sister Carol Sharp, son Scott Preston, daughter Libbi Hash, step-daughters Darilyn Gordon and Julie Frost, and son-in-law Tom Frost. He was blessed with six grandchildren, Jake Hash, Shae Preston, Jason Howell, Taylor Guinn and her husband Chas, Clayton Timberlake, and Dylan Frost. He also had four great-grandchildren, Hayden Garner, Zachary Smith, Jr., Laynee Guinn, and Eden Rose, who is due in January. Don retired from the Air Force after 20 years of service. After his retirement, he went to work for Harris Corporation (now L3Harris). He retired from Harris after almost 20 years. He was a wonderful husband and best friend to his wife. His grandchildren were his joy In life. In his eyes, they could do no wrong, and he enjoyed every minute spent with them. He will be loved and missed by all his family. Now it’s time for him to be at peace and rest. There will be no services, per his wishes. His ashes will be buried at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery.
