Douglas (Doug) Pelc was born in Detroit, Michigan on October 11, 1948. He left this world with his family by his side. Douglas is survived by his wife of 52 years, Patti, his daughter, Danielle (Jeff) Borieo and son Matthew (Tamara) Pelc. He was predeceased by his son Peter. Douglas had 8 grandchildren, Alexa, Paige, Chloe, Noah, Luke, Kelsey, Logan, and Avery. He was also a proud great grandpa. He is survived by his siblings, Michael (Lorraine), Paul (Sharon), Linda (Dennis) Bajor, Carol, Elaine (Tim) Pelc-O’Leary. And predeceased by Kathy and David Michaelsen. Beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews, and many friends here in Florida, as well as in Michigan. He was proud to have been a Ford retiree, having worked for that company for 32 years. A memorial service will be scheduled at his community of Lakes of Melbourne in Florida and an additional service will be held in Michigan. Dates will be announced.
