James Eugene King (Jimmy)

Born on March 24, 1969 in Madisonville, Kentucky
Departed on July 16, 2025 in Palm Bay, Florida

James Eugene King (Jimmy) passed away at the age of 56 on July 16, 2025. He was born in Madisonville, KY on March 24, 1969 to Billy King Robertson, and James Edward King.

Raised in Central City, KY he moved to Palm Bay, Florida, when he was 20 years old. He loved it so much that he never moved back.

James (Jimmy) is survived by his wife of 16 years Brenda Bretz, his sister Sheena (Scott) Chumley, six stepchildren, nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren, four nieces and two nephews.

He was a brilliant musician and songwriter. He could play any instrument handed to him and play it well. He loved to sing karaoke at his favorite pub The Doghouse in Palm Bay, Florida (a.k.a. his home away from home). He was also the lead singer in the band N-Decision for many years. He has left us too soon to sing with the greatest choir of all in heaven.

He left us too soon. To know Jimmy was to love him. He will be sorely missed by many. Love you Jimmy!
