James Robert McGraw
James Robert McGraw, “Jimmy,” left this earth on April 2, 2026, in Orlando, Florida. Jimmy is survived by his parents, Jim and Stephanie McGraw, sister Jodi (Tim) Nunno, brother Matthew (Brittany) McGraw, cousins Amy (Danny) Fernandez, Joey (Jackie) Everington, and Robert Everington, Aunt Mary Ann Everington, Aunt Sue Uhlar (Michael), Uncles Tom (Becky) Uhlar, and Bobby Uhlar, along with several nieces and nephews.
Jimmy was born at Holmes Regional Medical Center on November 27, 1984. He lived in Malabar his entire life. He attended West Shore Jr/Sr High School in Melbourne, graduating in 2003, while simultaneously attending Brevard Community College. While at West Shore he performed throughout the county as percussionist for the Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, and Jazz Band, played goalie on the soccer team, and served in a leadership role in Computer Graphics, along with acting in the capacity of Assistant State Attorney in Teen Court. He enjoyed being a member of the Culinary Club.
He attended the Melbourne Church of God from an early age, performing in many children’s programs. He gave his heart to the Lord as a young child. He truly loved serving Him and traveled to Germany with the church youth on a mission trip.
Jimmy was a devoted uncle to nephews Timmy, Ryder, Joey, Charlie, and Zion, and nieces Reagan, Remy, and Eden. He will be remembered for his dry humor, culinary skills, and immense amount of computer technology knowledge, which many family members heavily relied upon.
He found great joy in the simple pleasures of everyday life. Movies were more than entertainment to him; they were stories to be appreciated, remembered, and shared. He had an incredible knowledge of trivia and a remarkable memory, paired with a quick wit that made every conversation lively. Friends and family knew that if there were ever a trivia game, he would be the person
you wanted on your team. We will forever miss his warm, generous bear hugs!
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Calvary Chapel Melbourne, 2955 Minton Road, West Melbourne, Florida, at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated at Youth Missions, Calvary Chapel Melbourne, 2955 Minton Road, West Melbourne, Florida 32904.
