James Francis Conlon
James Francis Conlon died peacefully on May 16, 2022, in Melbourne, Florida. He was born on August 23, 1924, in New York City to Catherine Clarke Conlon and James Francis Conlon. He is predeceased by his sister, Norinne Rodgers Daly. He is survived by his wife, Mary Kathleen Harte, of 75 years, who he married at Saint Sebastian Church, Sunnyside, New York, and has three children, Noreen Ann Conlon (Cliff Dufton), Stephen Peter Conlon (Alison) and James Harte Conlon (Ruth). He has seven grandchildren Stephen W. Conlon (Tara), Marielle J. Conlon, Evan H. Conlon (Erica), Kaitlin Dufton (Doug Breckner), Clifford Dufton, Erin, and Clarke Conlon and three great-grandchildren, Stephen W Conlon, Madelyn J. Conlon, and James H Raab.
James served in the Army protecting the Panama Canal during WWII and was a graduate of St. John’s Law School in Jamaica, New York. He practiced law in New York for over 60 years. He raised his family in Queens and Glen Cove Long Island, retiring to Bridgehampton, New York and then to Florida.
