Janice Louise (Lewis) Cary, 88, of Satellite Beach, Florida, formerly of Thurmont, Maryland, was called home by God on April 7 after a long illness. Janice cherished all her family and enjoyed fond memories of camping, sailing and summer family reunions when her children were young. In her later years she enjoyed riding her bicycle, car rides along the shoreline of the Indian River near Satellite Beach, as well as spending time with her beloved dog Katie.

The family will hold a private graveside service at the Blue Ridge cemetery in Thurmont.
