Marie B. Williams, 103. Of West Melbourne, Florida passed away at her home on Monday January 19. She was born in Tamaqua, PA in 1922 and moved to Melbourne in 1957 from Boalsburg, PA.
When she and her husband began building Williams Marina at Sebastian Inlet while cutting the road to the property, she discovered a huge spray of blooming wild orchids. This began her lifelong interest in orchids and participation in the Brevard County Orchid Society.
She is survived by her son Michael (Patricia), Son-in-law Skip Robbins, 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday January 28th at 1pm in the Brownlie & Maxwell Funeral Chapel.
