Hartel, Marilyn A (Ernst) age 92 entered eternal life on January 9th. 2024. She was preceded into death by her husband of 62 years Franklin. Born in Louisville, Ky. She is survived by her dearest daughter Alison and her husband Michael Slattery, her beloved grandson Sean Slattery, her sister Mildred Conway of Louisville, Ky., and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Leaving Louisville upon marriage, Mrs. Hartel lived in Buffalo, NY for many years before her husbands career took him to Massachusetts, where they spent 40 years before retiring to Melbourne, Fl. Visitation will be at Brownlie-Maxwell Funeral home on January 15th from 2:00 – 4:00 with a service to follow from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.
