Muriel F. Cassidy, 85, of Melbourne passed away on Thursday January 22, 2026.
A native of Greenpoint, Brooklyn, New York, she worked in banking on Wall Street and in Miami. She retired as a bank executive and moved to Melbourne in 2001 from Miami.
She was a member and Eucharistic Minister at St. Joseph Catholic Church and a dedicated volunteer at FIT Catholic Chapel.
Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Robert and Louise Cassidy; her three brothers Robert, Terrence and Brendan and her three sisters Mona, Phyllis, and Evelyn.
A Funeral Mass is being planned and will be celebrated at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5330 Babcock Street, NE, Palm Bay, followed by burial in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery at 1422 Miller Street, NE in Palm Bay.
