Naomi Leigh Saxon, 51, passed away on 8 January 2025, under hospice care in Melbourne, Florida. She was born 25 September 1973 in Vereen Memorial Hospital in Moultrie, Georgia to Joseph Dwain Saxon and Jamie Rosemary Smith. Naomi was born severely handicapped and lived with her parents her entire life.


She is survived by her parents and three siblings: her brother, David Saxon and his wife, Jennifer Tryzbiak of Cumming, Georgia; her sister, Sarah Kline and her husband Brin Kline of Melbourne, Florida and her brother, John Saxon of Melbourne, Florida. She has three nephews, Ethan Saxon, Jonas Saxon, and Woods Kline and one niece, Josilyn Kline.

Naomi was loved by all who met her. She brought joy everywhere she went. She is greatly missed by her family and friends. Family and friends may call from 3pm until time of service at 4 pm on Thursday, 16 January 2025 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on Creel Street in Melbourne, Florida. She will be buried on 18 January 2025 at Suncrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Moultrie, Georgia. The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away. Blessed be the name of the Lord.
