Scott Maxwell, 74, was born December 30. 1949 in Boston, MA to George S. and Mary L. (Pelly) Maxwell, Sr and passed peacefully on December 6, 2024 in Indialantic, FL.
He served honorably in the US Army Reserves.
Scott moved to Melbourne and was employed as an Industrial Engineer at Harris Corp.
He was a husband, father, and grandfather, a long-distance runner, soccer coach, and travel enthusiast. This year Scott celebrated 50 years of marriage to his wife, Dawn, and welcomed a great-granddaughter. He will be missed by many, and remembered fondly and with love by his family.
A Celebration of Life will be Sunday, December 15 from 3:00 – 5:00 at The 905 Café.

Dear Dawn, Heather, and Family, We will miss Scott so much!! He was a fixture at the Indialantic soccer fields. He was a wonderful person and coach. He was Caulli and Cari’s first soccer coach, and taught them to love playing the game. Scott always used positive reinforcement, and let each child have a chance to play. It amazed me the distances he ran!! Scott adored his family, and always smiling when he spoke of you. I will miss seeing him walking down the Indialantic fields with his bag of soccer balls!
