Departed on August 15, 2021 in Melbourne, Florida

Suzanne Brewer Crane, of Melbourne, FL, died August 15 after a brief illness at age 82. Sue was born in Ducktown, TN on May 20, 1939. She moved to Florida with her family in 1951 and graduated Melbourne High School in 1957. She worked as a medical records clerk at Brevard Hospital, and became secretary and one of the first employees of Melbourne Kidney Center where she worked for 26 years. She also ran her own medical dictation service before retiring to spend time traveling with her beloved husband, Roy. She was a loving sister to Marvin Tallent (Pam), Delores Kimsey, and Frank Brewer, a wonderful mother to Leslie Santos (Tony), Mark Ferguson (Vanessa), and Mike Ferguson (Frankie) as well as step-mom to Leroy, Michael, Phillip, and Debra Crane. She was a wonderful aunt and a beloved cousin. She was a doting Mema to 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren who were her pride and joy.
Sue loved Irish music, traveling, Mexican food, seeing her friends and reading countless books. Her sense of humor and quick wit will be sorely missed. She was preceded in death by her father, Gilbert Brewer, mother and stepfather, Dorothy and Marvin Tallent, granddaughter Janet, stepson Michael, and husband, Roy Crane.
A private family service will be held on September 16 at First Church Melbourne where she was a member since 1953. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

Sue, Was a long time neighbor and friend. Over 50 years for my husband and 36 for me. After that long it is like losing a member of the family. That is how she made you feel. Well Sue looking over to your house is sad now knowing you are gone. Enjoy your reunion with Roy and be in peace.
