Beloved Mother.
Mom was a private person and a stay at home mother. She had her hands full raising 5 children. I think she did a great job. All her children have grown to be productive assets in their communities and have raised 15 Grandchildren, 24 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren. I would say that is quite a tribute to a job well done.
Mom was a very generous person, she would help anyone who asked for help. There were times around the holidays she would send anonymous gift cards to families in the neighborhood that she though could use a little extra. And of course she was always generous with her family.
Mom was a dog lover. Although she didn’t care to have animals in her house, if she was going to have a cone of cream( that’s what she called an ice cream cone) she would fix one for the dog as well. I can she her now sitting on the porch or swing holding that ice cream cone for the dog while they had their treat. So funny!
Later, She would keep a box of dog treats in the garage for the dog next door. Every time she pulled in the driveway that dog would walk over for his treat. And after mom quit driving she had me continue buying those treats and giving them to that dog until it passed.
Mom will be missed everyday by family, friends and animals alike.
Rest In Peace Mama❤️
