Donald Bruce Coy of Viera, Florida died June 15, 2024 at the age of 75.

Donald was born in Goshen, Indiana on January 5, 1949 to Edward T and Barbara (Grey) Coy.

He graduated from Syracuse High School in 1968 then went on to serve in the United Stated Navy on the USS Intrepid and then in Vietnam on the USS Enterprise. In 1969 he married the love of his life Christine (McNeil) Coy.

Donald was a cable TV engineer in Central Florida for 30 years. After retiring from Spectrum he enjoyed his hobby in amateur radio volunteering time at both the Brevard County Emergency Operations Center (Brevard EOC) and the Launch Information Service and Amateur Television System (LISATS).

Donald is survived by his wife of 54 years Christine; his daughter Denise (John) Adams; grandchildren Jacob, John (Jb), Alora; sisters Caryl (Daryle) Fish and Lori (Andy) Brown; brothers Edward “Tom” (Kathleen) Coy and Paul (Colleen) Coy.

He was preceded in death by his parents Edward Coy and Barbara (Coy) Leedy and his brother Richard “Dick” Coy.
