Shawn Fulcher

Born on April 17, 1966 in Pensacola, Florida
Passed on January 6, 2026 in Palm Bay, Florida

Shawn Fulcher, a beloved husband, loving stepfather, and devoted brother, passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Shawn was a strong and steadfast presence in the lives of all who knew him—always dependable and deeply caring.

Shawn played football for many years and was a lifelong sports enthusiast. Shawn loved the energy and camaraderie of the game. He was known for his sharp, sarcastic wit—a dry jokester who could make others laugh with just a look or a perfectly timed comment. As a stepfather, he taught his children so much, guiding them with patience, wisdom, and unwavering support. He was deeply devoted to his wife and family, living his life in faith and quiet strength.

Shawn is now at peace, embraced by God’s grace, and reunited with loved ones who went before him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Max and Margaret Fulcher along with his brother, Stephen.

Shawn leaves behind his loving wife, Kristine, his stepchildren, Desireé and Adam, and their spouses, and his cherished first granddaughter, Violet. He is also lovingly remembered by his in-laws, as well as his sister, Sharon, her spouse, and his nephews and their families.

He will be remembered for his strength, loyalty, faith, and the extreme love he had for his family. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

A private celebration by the family will be announced.

A poem from his wife

Shawn, you were my steady ground,
My quiet strength, my home, my sound.
With gentle faith and humor dry,
You made me laugh, you held me high.

You taught our children, heart so true,
With patient hands and wisdom too.
Though cancer fought and took its toll,
You never wavered in your soul.

Now God has called you to His side,
No pain, no tears, just peace and light.
Until we meet in heaven above,
Rest easy, Shawn—my life, my love.

Shawn, You were so welcoming to Tom and I the time we visited so many years ago. Your smile was warm and tender. I saw immediately the happiness you gave to Kristine.
