Veronica Schmitt Phelabaum, 90, of Palm Bay, passed away on May 17, 2026.  She was born in Palm Bay and was employed by St. Joseph’s School for 40 years.  After retirement, Veronica (Ronnie), volunteered at St. Vincent de Paul food pantry.  She attended St. Joseph and Our Lady of Grace Catholic Churches.  She excelled at designing wedding cakes, enjoyed basket making, embroidery, and gardening.

Survivors include her children, Cindy Hadley, Toni Phelabaum, Chris Pinks, Becky (Jim) Winch, Bob (Holly) Phelabaum and Monica (David) Young.  She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, her brother Edward Schmitt and numerous nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are Monday, June 1, from 10-10:30am at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Malabar Rd with Mass of the Resurrection to follow at 10:30am.

Friends planning expressions of sympathy are asked to consider donations to Health First Hospice, EWTN (Catholic television network) or St. Vincent de Paul of Our Lady of Grace, Palm Bay.
