Jeffrey Allison Wallace

Born on November 24, 1957, in Selma, Alabama
Passed on March 11, 2026 in Melbourne, Florida

Jeffrey Allison Wallace was born November 24, 1957 in Selma, Alabama, and grew up between Jacksonville, Florida and New Orleans, Louisiana, where he attended Terry Parker High School in Jacksonville.

He went on to attend the University of Florida before earning his teaching degree from the University of North Florida and his Doctorate of Chiropractic from the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic, where he graduated as class valedictorian. He built a distinguished career as a chiropractic physician, practicing in Melbourne, Florida, where he spent most of his life.

Jeffrey was a man who lived fully and fearlessly. He loved to surf, fish, and fly planes as a licensed private pilot. He was a second degree black belt in martial arts and never passed up a sweet treat. He faced a Parkinson’s diagnosis in 1999 with the same optimism, bravery, and quiet strength that defined him in everything he did. His community at Rock Steady Boxing in Melbourne Beach became a cherished part of his life, a testament to the warmth and connection he inspired in everyone around him.

Silly, stoic, and deeply empathetic, Jeffrey had a jokester’s heart and a fighter’s spirit.

He is survived by his wife Susan Wallace; his son Stewart Wallace; his daughter-in-law Sarina Wallace; his mother Marion Peri; his stepfather Frank Peri; his siblings Michael Wallace, Kim Peri Lambert, Leslie Sale, and Lyndee Wallace. He was preceded in death by his father Daniel Allison Wallace and his brother Mitchell Wallace.

Jeffrey passed peacefully on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at 8:50 pm.

A Celebration of Life open to the community will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at 2:00 pm at Ryckman Park Pavilion, 509 Ocean Avenue, Melbourne Beach, Florida 32951. A beach paddle out will follow at 5:00 pm.
