Born on January 14, 1984, in Rockledge, FL
Passed on February 25, 2026 in Edgewater, Florida
Kyle Bailey McKinley finished his earthly race unexpectedly on February 25th, 2026, at the age of 42.
He was born to his adoring parents, John and Dianne McKinley, on January 14, 1984, in Rockledge, FL. Kyle graduated from Eau Gallie High school in 2002 and later received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Flagler University. Kyle was a skilled craftsman and artfully remodeled many homes.
An outdoorsman at heart, Kyle loved the woods, fire pits, and exploring. Nature was his home.
Kyle was a friend to all: he would do anything for those in need, whether friend or stranger. He started walking with the Lord as a child, growing up going to Eau Gallie First Baptist. Kyle believed Christ is the only one who will fulfill his promises and encouraged others to cling to the cross.
Throughout his life, Kyle remained strong-willed, always embracing his independent, free-spirit. No matter the situation, Kyle was surrounded by the love of his friends and family.
Kyle is mourned by his loving wife Christina McKinley, and his children Sawyer (13), Sonny (5) and Hank (2), his parents John & Dianne McKinley, his brother Zachary McKinley, and sister Erin Davison (Wesley Davison).
A service to celebrate Kyle’s life will be March 16th, 3pm, at Coastline Community Church (409 E Eau Gallie Blvd Indian Harbour Beach, FL 32937). Family will be available for visitation from 2-3pm. Dress will be casual. The family asks that you come willing to share stories, as it will be healing balm for their hearts.
“I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.” Romans 8:18
In lieu of flowers, please consider contributing to the children’s education funds. (Zelle Christina McKinley 321-537-2449)

Our dear, dear friends—our hearts are heavy as we get ready to travel to see your family and remember Kyle. I think we have known Kyle since he was 3 as he and Brittany grew up together in school and church. Kyle was such a smart and funny young man—comfortable with adults. I don’t ever remember a time that he was disrespectful to me in all those years.
We are so sorry for your loss, but look forward to the day when we can all see each other again in heaven. We are praying for God’s loving care to be always evident to you.
Love you all, Durwood and Karen

I am a second cousin and sadly did not have the pleasure of knowing Kyle this side of Heaven. My heart aches for all who are mourning Kyle going home so soon. Along with my family I hold close to the Truth that this is not the end… we will share eternity with our Father and our loved ones . Prayers of comfort for all during this most difficult time.

I was at the closing table when Christina and Kyle met for the first time. There were some sparks and plans to get together at a later time. It was a remarkable event I will never forget and still talk about to this day! Christina and family, you are certainly in my thoughts and prayers. We have that blessed hope that we will see him again in heaven some day. For now, I pray you find sweet peace and comfort as you carry on here on earth.

Kyle was my nephew and I loved him dearly. I loved that he would talk with me as a friend, not just an older aunt.
My children grew up with him and we all spent many summers together. He had an infectious smile and laugh. We also love his wife Christina and their precious boys, Sawyer, Sonny and Hank.
My last memory of Kyle was at his parent’s house. We sat and talked and I remember thinking how special it was that he would take the time to talk with me. I hope he knew how much we loved him. Still love him. He will always be a part of us. A very special part of our family. Until we meet again. Love,, Aunt Donna

Steph (Roberts), Dana Gish, Olivia Matheny and I were on a girls trip to NC and it was so fun to run into Kyle and his beautiful family there, we were not expecting to see anyone we knew from Melbourne. Kyle was a friend from high school that we didn’t get to see often but he was the kind of guy you couldn’t forget. He was so sweet and funny. We know he is with our Lord now, he will be missed! Praying for his sweet family

Christina and all McKinley family,
The news of Kyles tragic death has left us stunned and aching for you. No one should have to endure such a sudden, shattering loss. May the beautiful memories you shared bring you moments of comfort amid the pain.
I remember how Kyle would go walk in the woods of our property and bring back all sorts of cool artifacts, with the biggest smile on his face. I still have them on my shelf; they will always remind me of happy summer fun with you all.
We love you and will be here for you and your family.
Love,
Bryan and Cherie

Sharing in your sorrow for a life gone too soon on earth. He was a precious young boy I remember sharing with at church who grew up to be a godly man. I will be there to hug you all and celebrate his life. May God’s perfect peace bring comfort at this difficult time.
