Olga A. Hoffman
Olga A. Hoffman, 83, went home to be with the Lord on February 16, 2026. She was born on November 9, 1942, in Havana, Cuba. At age 22, Olga left Cuba with her son, Ruben Diaz, and her grandmother to begin a new life.
Olga worked as an administrative secretary for Sears and for the federal government for more than 30 years. She lived in the Washington, D.C., area for nearly three decades before retiring to Melbourne, Florida, in 2003 with her husband, Richard.
Olga’s greatest joys were her family, her dogs—Duke (a Collie) and John Wayne “JW” (a Sheltie)—her flowers and reading and collecting recipes.
Olga is survived by her devoted husband of 49 years, Richard M. Hoffman; her stepson, Jeffery M. Hoffman, and his wife, Meghan; and her grandsons, Zach and Levi, all of Coatesville, Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her son, Ruben Diaz, in 2005.
Olga will be cremated, and her ashes will be interred at Green Hill Cemetery in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mid-Florida Sheltie Rescue, 1480 Meadowbrook Road NE, Palm Bay, FL 32905. For information, please contact Barbara Davis.
