RIP CW4 Parker…. So many of my childhood memories include him and the entire family. He was a great man and pilot. To me it is the closing of an era of my life. May he find eternal peace. And I fondly think of him and my pops drinking beer looking over all of us.

I am very sorry for the loss of Bob. May he now rest in peace. I met Bob only one time, during the summer of 2011. My family and I visited Nancy (my late grandmother’s sister) and Bob, and also had the chance to meet the larger family, celebrating 4th of July, and more. We felt very welcome and a great time together. My fondest memory of Bob was when he gave me and my brother a silver coin he had received for his heroic efforts as a helicopter pilot (I think it was the Challenger disaster). I still have that coin, which for me was, and is still, a symbol of his generosity, kindness and bravery. A special hug goes out to Nancy - I am really looking forward to seeing you again soon. Love and condolences from Birger ❤️
