Cynthia “Cindy” Allen Huy

Passed on August 29, 2025 in Palm Bay, Florida
It is with great sadness and much love that the family of Cynthia Allen Huy mourn the passing of our Cindy, Mom, Mom Mom of Palm Bay, Florida at the age of 72 years.
She will be forever lovingly remembered by her husband of 51 years, Johnny; son Trey (Lizi) and daughter Andee (Daniel) as well as grandchildren Quade, Bennett, Anabelle, and Lyla; sisters Vicky Sorensen and Lynn Huy as well as countless relatives and friends.
Cindy was hopelessly devoted to the love of her life Johnny and somehow equally selflessly devoted to her two children and subsequently her grandchildren. Born in Greenville SC, she moved to Indialantic as a young child and graduated Melbourne High School and then The Florida State University with a BA in Liberal Arts in 1974.
Cindy was co-owner and executive with her husband Johnny in their construction company; Jobear Incorporated, where she gracefully navigated the difficult balance of “working mom” at a time when it was not well understood. Indeed, she was a role model for her daughter Andee in that way, and her son Trey proudly continues to own and operate the business successfully.
She was an avid reader always recommending and passing along her favorite books to her family and friends. She loved waterskiing, boat rides, traveling, cooking, dining, a good cocktail, and listening to music at their home. She rooted devotedly for the St Louis Cardinal baseball – never missed a game on tv and all things Florida State Seminole sports. She loved learning and American history; proudly honoring her ancestors heritage as a Daughter of the Confederacy.
Her family is heartbroken. We will treasure all our memories with her but especially cherish our time fishing the Jane Green Creek on the Kempfer’s Deer Park Ranch and watching deer and turkey at their cabin at Wolf Creek Ranch. We will be holding a celebration of life at Holy Trinity Episcopal Chapel, where Cindy served on the Altar Guild, on Saturday Sept 20 at 2 pm in the afternoon.
