Passed on February 10, 2026 in Melbourne, Florida
Carol Mueller left this life to join her loving husband Glen (d. 2023) in eternity in the arms of our Lord and Savior on February 10, 2026. Her heart was on borrowed time since her triple bypass in 2015. We are grateful for the additional 10 years she shared with us. She was surrounded by loved ones as she took her last breath.
Carol was born in Camden, NJ on March 14th, 1944 as Carol Ann Martella. Her family moved to Pueblo, CO where she grew up. She graduated from South High School in 1962. She later settled in Melbourne, FL where she lived for the better part of 57 years.
She retired working at State Farm where she made some wonderful friends, especially Patricia Bachman.
Carol was a talented crafter and loved Hallmark movies. She was a former choir director at Holy Family Catholic Church and attended Ascension Catholic Church.
Welcoming her in heaven was her husband of nearly 53 years, Glenwood Mueller, her father, Francis “Rocky” Martella, her mother, Margaret “Peggy” Martella (nee Deegan) along with beloved pets Sugar, Jaycee, Kali and granddog Serendipity.
Grieving her passing are her devoted daughter Gina Choquette, Sister-In-Law Idell Mueller Lepeska (Dutch-d. 2023) her niece Lynn Lepeska Werner (Arno) nephew Mark Lepeska (Martha) nephew Glen Lepeska, and their respective children and grandchildren. She also leaves behind a daughter Lisa Erickson. “Gramma” will be greatly missed by her granddog Blaze as well.
Funeral mass service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 5 at Ascension Catholic Church in Melbourne. Flowers may be sent to Ascension, condolences to Gina Choquette, Melbourne FL 32935.

Gina- I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your Mother. I loved her so much and have so many great memories of her. She was smart, funny, loving and protective. Working with your Mom and Idell (and Janice) at Dr. Hales office made some of the best memories of my life, and I am so thankful for that. Sending you love and prayers, Kathy

Gina, I’m so very sorry to read of your mom’s passing.
I worked with she and Idell back in the day.
Her laughter was contagious and she spoke so lovingly of her girls.
May you find peace in your memories .
