Ed was born in Melbourne, Florida and lived in the Brevard County area his entire life. He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors, and was a landscaper. He was such an amazing father and uncle. Ed impacted so many lives that he came across.

Ed is survived by his son Nathan Truitt of Palm Bay; his long time partner and Nathan’s mother Heather Lewis of Palm Bay; his father Edward Truitt of Georgia; sister Sara Truitt of Georgia; and sister Amanda Truitt of Palm Bay. He is preceded in death by his mother Cathleen Jean.

Nathan was his world and Ed would have done anything for him. He was our shelter and we felt so safe while he was here on Earth. We love him and he will always be in our Hearts.
