Joanne Nicholson, 86, of Palm Bay passed away on Wednesday February 28, 2018 in Palm Bay. She moved here in 1962 from Kentucky retired as a Dean at BCC and was a member of The Graceway Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter Ann Thorpe, a son Matthew Gray, grandchildren Shelley, Jenny and Clif, and 8 great-grandchildren as well as a brother Jack Nicholson.
Calling hours will be Sunday March 4th 4pm-6pm at Brownlie – Maxwell Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday March 5th at 11am in The Graceway Free Will Baptist Church. Donations in her name may be made to the Graceway Free Will Baptist Church.

I thought of Joanne and decided to search her name. We worked together at BCC and I will always cherish her memory. She was a mentor, colleague but most of all a friend whom I held in high regards for the wisdom and love she imparted.
