Dear Renee and Family, I worked at Washington Wood Products until 1973 and Joel was always the perfect boss with his uncle Maddie. I enjoyed the holiday party you had the year I was expecting my first baby. You were both so kind to me and I am sorry to hear about Joel's passing. Please accept my condolences. Valerie Smith

Joel and Renee are my definite family favorites. I have many memories with them I will always cherish. These memories date back to early childhood visiting them in Easton and playing with their children, my cousins. I will also cherish more recent times spent visiting Joel and Renee in Florida. I will miss Joel greatly. With love, Darryl
