Judith Ann Shigley, 83, passed away on January 10, 2025, at Cape Canaveral Hospital Hospice of Health First, after her courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

Judy was born on May 31, 1941 in Celina, Ohio. From birth through high school, she resided with her parents, Ned and Dorothy Sunderland with brother, Jack, in Saint Marys, Ohio.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents and brother.

She graduated from Saint Marys Hight School, then attended Bowling Green State University, in Bowling Green, Ohio.

Judy married Lewis Clark Shigley on February 11, 1961, and resided in Dundee, Michigan.

Judy and Lew relocated to various cities and states, then finally settled in Florida. Judy was an avid golfer, who recorded 2 holes-in-one at her favorite Aquarina Golf and Country Club. Together they enjoyed traveling to many continents and countries, as well as entertaining family and friends.

Judy will be loved and missed by her husband of 64 years. She will forever be remembered by her children Dorothy Lynn Shigley Badana (Dionisio, husband); Clark Lewis Shigley (Renee’, wife); Melissa Ann Griggs (Josh, husband). In addition, Judy will be adored by her grandchildren Micah Emmanuel Shigley Badana (Andie, wife); Adrian Nathaniel Shigley Badana; Nate Shigley; Seth Anthony Shigley Badana (Madeleine, wife); Lydia Shigley; Emma Shigley; Luke Powell; Rachel Shigley; Ella Powell; and Piper Griggs (step granddaughter). Judy also treasured her great grandsons, Ira Dionisio Dodd Badana; Niels Andrew Dodd Badana; and Hudson Ray Badana.

A service celebrating Judy Shigley’s precious life will be held on their Wedding Anniversary, February 11, 2025, at 11:00 am at Faith Viera Lutheran Church, where friends and family are invited to remember a life well lived.
