Julie Fernandez Arthur

Born on January 26, 1970 in Miami, Florida
Departed on May 8, 2021 in West Melbourne, Florida

Julie Fernandez Arthur passed away peacefully at home on May 8th, 2021 surrounded by her husband, Jason, and two sons, Dante and Fabian. Julie was the proud daughter of a Korean War hero, Manuel “Pete” Fernandez who preceded her in death. She had two sisters, Holly Fernandez and Lori Gentile who also preceded her in death. Julie is survived by her mother, Jill Fernandez, along with her brother and several nieces and nephews.
Julie was born and raised in Miami, Florida and graduated from Miami Palmetto Senior High School in 1987. She attended Miami Dade College and began her three decade career in the insurance industry. Julie took great pride in her career and her dedication, commitment to excellence, and her extraordinary knowledge endeared her to customers and staff.
Julie was a bright light, a loving spirit, and a kind soul. She had a sweet disposition and lived life with a strong sense of purpose. Julie was a loving wife to her husband and a dedicated and devoted mother to her two sons. Julie’s greatest legacy was her all-encompassing love for her family, which she demonstrated every day of her life. She taught us courage in the face of adversity and the value of a positive attitude. She had a great sense of humor, loved to laugh, always had a smile on her face, and cared for others before herself.
Julie is profoundly missed and forever adored by her husband, sons, family, and friends.

Julie will always live on in my heart and my memories as one of the strongest and kindest people I've known. I am fortunate to have worked with her for nearly a decade and wish all the love and strength to her family during this difficult time. Thank you, Julie, for being our guiding light all these years.

Julie was truly one of a kind and one of my dearest friends for the past 15 years. We shared so many great times together and I will miss her so much. I know that she is resting in paradise and one day, we will meet again.
