Kathleen (Kathy) A. Rapp Parks, 73, of Melbourne, Fl., died April 5, 2022, at Home under the care of her husband and St. Francis Reflections Lifestage Care Melbourne, Fl. 32935. She was born July 21, 1948, in Saint Cloud, MN to Dale Edmund Rapp & Eileen (Gragg) Rapp. She married James on July 3, 2006, in Marshall, N.C. and he survives.
Kathy graduated from Eau Gallie H.S. and earned the degree of Associates in Arts at Brevard Community College. She had worked for U.S. Post Office and Harris Corporation and Retired 2005. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Kathy earned a Black Belt in Karate and took flying lessons and conducted a Solo Flight to obtain her Pilot License. She enjoyed Scuba Diving and loved traveling with her husband. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, James of Melbourne, her sister Patty Lent of Melbourne, Florida and 2 nieces Jessica and Alexandra Lent and 1 nephew Jacob Lent. Also 1 nephew and 2 great nieces and Brody & Eileen Jones, and Jasmin Lent.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Thomas Rapp.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Francis Reflection Lifestage Care, 6905 N. Wickham Road, Suite 403, Melbourne, Florida 32940, in lieu of flowers.

Kathy and Jim was so much fun to be around. Kathy was the epitome of a gracious lady. She was always smiling and made you feel extra special when she saw you. You will be missed, Kathy. We will stay alongside Jim while he heals. R.I.P., friend.
