Maureen H. Graham
July 2, 1942 — February 26, 2026

It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Maureen H. Graham, who departed this world on February 27, 2026, at the age of 83. Maureen passed away peacefully at her home in the comforting embrace of her beloved family. Her journey began in Hartford, Connecticut on July 3, 1942, as the cherished daughter of the late Maurice and Evelyn Howland.

Maureen Graham was a woman of strength, independence, and unmistakable presence. She wasn’t someone who always showed love in obvious ways, but those who knew her well understood it was always there. Beneath her hard exterior was a deep, steady care for the people she loved, shown through loyalty, consistency, and being there when it truly mattered.

Maureen had a lifelong love for gardening. It was where she felt most at peace, tending to plants with patience and pride. She even kept a secret garden—a private place she cherished, much like the parts of herself she shared only with a few. Watching things grow brought her joy, and in many ways, it reflected how she cared for others: quietly, steadily, and with intention.

Her career was equally varied and fulfilling. Maureen proudly owned a tavern in Orlando, where she created a welcoming space for her community. Later, she had a career with Target, a position she held with grace and diligence until her retirement. Through her work, Maureen forged connections that mirrored the depth of her character—a woman who gave her all, regardless of the task at hand.

She was preceded in death by her husband Wayne Graham. Maureen leaves behind her brother Maurice Howland and wife Ursel; her beloved daughters Cindy Morrison and her husband, Bill Morrison, and Sandra Lyons; her grandchildren Courtney Wolfe, Justin Morrison, Marie Magliocca, Rachel Spirk, Angela Carias, and Russell Marney; and eleven great-grandchildren who were the light of her life.

A service to celebrate her life will be held on March 29, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Moose Lodge #2311, 1335 Malabar Road, NE, Palm Bay, Florida.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the nurses and CNAs for their compassionate care. As we bid farewell, we carry forward the love she shared and the lessons she imparted.
