Nedra Jo Wickline Maxwell

Passed on February 15, 2026 in Indialantic, Florida

Nedra Jo Wickline Maxwell, 69, of Indialantic, Florida, died peacefully at home on February 15, 2026. She was born on December 20, 1956 in Charleston, West Virginia, and moved to Brevard County at age 7, after which she attended JW Creel Elementary, Johnson Junior High, and Eau Gallie High School.

Mrs. Maxwell retired as an administrative assistant with the Sebastian Inlet District. In that position, she was well known in the community as “the fishing report lady” for her regular reports on conditions at the inlet. She especially enjoyed spending time on the jetty speaking with local anglers and friends.

Travel was an enduring focus of her life. Together with her husband, George, she frequently traveled internationally, with Germany being a favorite destination they visited many times. For two decades, she took annual trips to New York City with her sister and best friends. A free spirit by nature, she had a strong preference for last minute road trips with no itinerary.

Mrs. Maxwell is survived by her mother Elizabeth Issel; her siblings Angela Hebert and Granville “Bud” Wickline Jr.; her husband George Maxwell III and her daughters Angela Del Valle and Chelsea Buckholtz. She was a devoted grandmother to five grandchildren: Mackenzie, Kevin, Bert, Jane, and Georgie.

Her service will be held at Eastminster Presbyterian Church, 106 N Riverside Drive, Indialantic, Florida, 32903 on February 24, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. A reception will immediately follow.
