With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Ruth F. Massanova who peacefully passed away at the age of 87 surrounded by her children on July 21, 2026.
She was the heart of our family—a loving, caring, and compassionate woman whose kindness touched everyone she met.
She was especially known for her creativity and love of crafting. Whether she was sewing, quilting, crocheting, painting, or creating handmade treasures, she poured her heart into everything she made. Her beautiful work will remain cherished reminders of her talent, patience, and love.
She is survived by her children, Brian and Rebecka Massanova, Glenn and Nicole Massanova, Jennifer and Anthony Ogle, daughter in law Kathleen Anderson Lima, her grandchildren Amanda and Shaunna Massanova Lutes, Joshua Massanova and by many treasured grandchildren and great-grandchildren by marriage. She also leaves behind her brother Francis J. Oechsner, Jr. and sister in law Lois Shelton as well as her best friend Gail Milliken. She was proceeded in death by her mother and father Francis and Ruth Oechsner, her sister Catherine Link, her husband Albert Massanova and her son Kieth Massanova.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, generosity, creativity, and strength that will continue to inspire all who knew her.
Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that her love will remain with us always. She will be dearly missed and forever loved.
A Celebration of Life honoring her memory will be held at a later date. Details will be shared with family and friends as arrangements are completed.
