William “Bill” Offenhauser

Born on September 7, 1938 in Hoboken, New Jersey
Departed on August 21, 2021 in Palm Bay, Florida

William (Bill) Offenhauser went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 21, 2021. He leaves behind his loving wife of 59 years, Betty; three children, Kim Mahoney of Convent Station, NJ; David Offenhauser of Alpharetta, GA; and George Offenhauser of Island Heights, NJ. Also, Kim’s husband, John; David’s wife Lindsay; and George’s wife Lori.
Bill and Betty have seven grandchildren: George, Megan, Maddy, Matthew, Charles, Michael, and Justin
Bill graduated from Lakewood High School (NJ) and enlisted in the Navy. Upon his honorable discharge, he began his studies at Monmouth College (NJ). After graduation he was employed by AT&T until his retirement 33 years later.
Bill has served the Lord Jesus Christ for over 50 years and this has been his life’s passion.

Our hearts are heavy and our eyes are brimming for our loss. Our lives were blessed and richer for having known this man and walked with him for a bit. As his veterinarian and friend I found myself with unique insight into an amazing example of a true Christian, and his reponse to our Lord's unconditional love. Rest well, dear brother.

An amazing man of God, who loved Christ with all his heart, and loved others as God’s Living Word details. Bill’s graceful passing and his wonderful sense of humor touched the lives of many. We are grateful to have known Bill and cherish our friendship with his beloved wife, Betty.
