Carolyn Padgett – Long time teacher in Brevard County passed away on April 11, 2025.

As a wife, mother, and educator, she was loved by all who knew her. After retirement, she lived much of her life on Lake Chatuge in Clay County, North Carolina along with her husband Boyce William Padgett.

She is survived by one sister, Grace Harrell of Hendersonville, North Carolina and her children: son, Douglas Padgett; daughters, Carol Carmichael, Angela Ellison and Bettina Walling. In addition, she is survived by 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
