Chad S. Hoover

Born on February 13, 1975 in Mobile, Alabama.
Passed on December 10, 2025 in Rockledge, Florida

Chad S. Hoover of Cocoa, FL was born on February 13, 1975 and passed away on December 10, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. He faced his illness with remarkable strength, grit, and determination, enduring more than anyone should ever have to, always with hope, kindness, grace, and without complaint.

Chad leaves behind his devoted wife, Tina; his loving mother, Barbara; his brothers and sisters, Sheryl and Luis, Bubba and Misty, Mary and Philip; aunt and uncle, Neena and Pete; his son, CJ; three nieces and one great niece; his sweet pets, along with many other family members and friends who cherished him dearly.

There are not enough words to capture the kind of man Chad was or the depth of the loss felt by those who had the honor of doing life with him. He is deeply loved and will be missed every single day.

Though his time here was far too short, Chad’s strength, compassion, and quiet resilience left a lasting mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him. Even while fighting for his life, Chad’s strength and spirit never wavered. He had a rare gift for bringing out the best in others and reminding us all to hold tight to what truly matters. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who love him and in the countless ways he made the world better simply by being in it.

As a huge lover of and advocate for animals, a celebration of Chad’s life will be held on January 10, 2026 at 11:00am at the Brevard Zoo in the Nyami Nyami River Lodge. A row of parking will be reserved on the south side of the zoo entrance in front of the lodge. A short service will be followed by appetizers and time to visit and share memories of Chad; no formal speeches, just time together. Chad rocked shorts and flip flops year round and his love for Auburn football ran deep, so please dress comfortably and feel free to wear navy blue or burnt orange in his honor. WDE.

For Chad’s Arizona family and friends, memorial services will be held at Heritage Funeral Home in Peoria, Arizona on January 2, 2026 at 12:30pm.
