Daye Danelishen

Born on May 1, 1948 in Cleveland, Ohio
Passed on November 20, 2025 in Palm Bay, Florida

Daye Danelishen, a cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2025, at the age of 77. She was born on May 1, 1948.

Daye’s life was a vibrant tapestry woven with passion for the creative arts. She found joy in crafting, thrifting, writing poetry, and painting. Her creativity extended into her relationships, providing countless warm memories for her family.

She was the beloved mother of Phil, Jake, and Holly. Daye took immense pride in her role as a grandmother to Stephanie, Patrick, Leah, and Gage, and a great-grandmother to Isabella, Blake, Penny, Levi, and Guillermo.

Daye’s relationship with her family was important to her. She created loving traditions, including cherished games of Scrabble on the living room floor with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed the simple pleasure of feeding the ducks at the pond.

Daye was known for her enduring spirit and was a fighter even at the end. Her memory lives on in the strength her family finds during difficult times, their stubbornness when fighting for their beliefs, their creative sides, and the sense of adventure she instilled in them.

We love you, Daye, and you will be dearly missed.
